PLUSHOUSE. MODULE HOUSE
This is a competitive project from DOM.RF, which was carried out as part of a consortium. For me, it was an opportunity to transfer the theses about accessibility, authenticity and variability of housing from the project in Chukotka to the real project. It was important to make not just a comfortable home for the «city dweller,» but also for the person who leads a traditional household. At the same time, the base of the house will be the same for everyone. The minimum module is comfortable and inexpensive enough for old housing, and as funds grow, the house can be expanded. Several growth options have been laid out for different needs. We can add a module if the family has added new members or we want to make a workshop for making honey. In addition, we have introduced some authentic elements of the traditional home and tried to rework them in a modern manner.
